Travel Fees: $35 Admin and Booking Fee including up to 20 minutes travel; $70 per 30 minutes beyond.
Note: We don’t display our home address publicly. Lessons are conducted in our vehicle throughout Adelaide, starting from quiet areas regardless of your location.
Understanding Drive Smart Driving School Adelaide
Specialised mobility focus. We have shifted our business to focus 100 per cent on high-stakes clinical and technical driver training. This includes medical returns, physical disabilities, and cognitive recovery challenges. Our expertise is dedicated to the 25 per cent of learners whom standard schools are not equipped to teach.
Service delivery update. We no longer offer standard licensing lessons for new clients. This decision enables us to focus on thelping those we are equipped to help best. We prioritise our specialised training vehicles for clients on medical pathways or those requiring vehicle modifications.
Clinical team coordination. We work directly with Driver Trained Occupational Therapists and Allied Health professionals. This collaboration ensures every vehicle modification and lesson plan meets the required Australian standards and licensing regulations. We provide the professional evidence required to satisfy government Medical Assessment requirements.
Financial responsibility terms. Drive Smart is a private specialist service. While we provide the documentation required for insurers or plan managers, all accounts must be settled directly with us at the time of service unless alternative invoicing arrangements have been arranged. Should a funding agency fail to pay for any reason, the client remains 100 per cent responsible for the final payment.
