Driving lesson prices include quality training by qualified driving instructors. Driving lessons and courses are structured to offer you best value and opportunity to learn well.
Instructors give feedback at the end of each session so you know what to practice between lessons. They keep notes regarding your progress and are always well prepared for your next driving lesson making sure you will get the most out of your time with us.
All lesson fees include access to the Drive Smart video library of driving lessons and tips.

60 minutes $110.00
90 minutes $165.00
120 minutes $220.00

Specialised Driver Training Services
Specialised Service fees include:
Specialist Driving Instructor with experience and training above and beyond that of a regular instructor.
Use of Trainer’s vehicle – Modifications fitted where required.
Liaison with Occupational Therapy and Support Team members.
Basic Progress Reports where requested.

Specialised prices are shown Excluding GST as many client’s funding is GST Free.

120 minutes $280.00 (+ GST $308.00)
Travel Fees May Apply
Travel fees apply for lessons or assessments requiring travel time more than 20 minutes from Trainer’s operating base.
Travel fees are $120.00 (+ GST $132.00) per hour charged in 30 minute blocks.
Other Prices
Report writing fee $120.00 (+ GST $132.00) per hour.
Research & Development / Consultation rate $140.00 (+ GST $154.00) per hour
NDIS Participant Information
Drive Smart Driving School support many NDIS Participants who have Self Managed or Plan Managed NDIS funding for Specialised Driver Training Services.
We are NOT a registered NDIS provider.
Cancellation Policy and Fees
Please give more than 48 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
- Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice – 50% of scheduled fee applies
- Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or not attended – 90% of scheduled fee applies
Cancellation fees are payable prior to the commencement of any further lessons.
